The card of the Day: Four of Cups, Reversed

A common misconception of reversed cards is that they are always negative: not so! Consider the Four of Cups upside down. Where once we were dejected with our lives and dissatisfied with the help support of others, now we are able to leave that dry spell and find new inspirations.
But we must choose to look for and then find them.
What do I mean? Well, if upright the Four of Cups is an indication of boredom, then reversed it represents a decision on our part to bid adieu to ennui and re-enter a world of creativity and emotional fulfillment. Have you seen any signs or omens recently? Felt any premonitions or even forebodings? The future is uncertain, and therefore scary to the imagination, but staying in a rut is certain and worse than anything our imaginations can produce.
Contact someone you haven’t heard from in a while, take a different route to the grocery store and go through an unexplored neighborhood, pick up a book you put down and re-read the first few pages. Simple acts of discovery can rekindle the soul. Just look for something unusual or unexpected.
Take a sip from a tea you have never tried before.
